JONESBORO, Ark. (11/29/22) – Arkansas State women’s soccer midfielder Abigail Miller was named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Region Team, the organization announced Tuesday.
Miller, a third team selection for the southeast region, started in all 18 fixtures while logging 1452 out of 1620 minutes. Playing with an injured wrist much of conference play, Miller played 764 of a possible 900 minutes in league contests. Playing in the midfield, Miller had a goal and assist, each coming in league contests. Her goal came at ULM while the assist was on the game-winning score in a win at Georgia Southern. Miller helped A-State to four shutouts in league play and seven total on the season.
Miller becomes the fourth player in program history to earn United Soccer Coaches All-Region honors. She joins Sarah Sodoma (2018, 2019, 2020-21), Julianna Coates (2019) and Hailey Cloud (2020-21) as players earning the all-region nod.
