CINCINNATI, Ohio (9/11/23) – Opening its 2023-24 season, the Arkansas State women’s golf team is sixth among 11 teams after 36 holes of the Jennifer Duke Invitational hosted by Cincinnati at Losantiville Country Club.
A-State turned in back-to-back rounds of 20-over par 300 on the par-70, 5,824-yard course. At 40-over par, the Red Wolves are two strokes back of Marshall and the host Bearcats for fourth while FIU (+35) is second and Xavier (+36) third. Western Kentucky leads the field at 13-over par 573.
Madison Tenore paced the Red Wolves with a total of 7-over par 147 (74-73) to rank 10th in the individual standings. Playing as an individual, Charlotte Menager is 14th with a total of 8-over par 148 (76-72). Ashley Kim totaled 9-over par 149 (74-75) to rank 15th and give the Red Wolves three players inside the top-15. Morgan Beaulieu is 27th at 12-over par 152 (75-77), Olivia Coit is 29th at 13-over par 153 (77-76) and Sofia Bastidas is 50th at 18-over par 158 (82-76) to round out the scoring for A-State.
