CINCINNATI, Ohio (9/12/23) – Turning in a final round 14-over par 294, the Arkansas State women’s golf team finished fifth among 11 teams at the Jennifer Duke Invitational hosted by the University of Cincinnati at Losantiville Country Club.
The Red Wolves open the season with a fifth-place finish totaling 54-over par 894 for the 54-hole tournament. Western Kentucky won the event at 14-over par 854 with Marshall (+48), Xavier (+50) and Cincinnati (+53) rounding out the top four.
Charlotte Menager, playing as an individual, led A-State with a total of 8-over par 218 (76-72-70) to tie for seventh. Ashley Kim finished tied for 13th with a 12-over par 222 (74-75-73) total while Madison Tenore totaled 12-over par 223 (74-73-76) to tie for 17th. Olivia Coit (77-76-75) and Sofia Bastidas (82-76-70) totaled 18-over par 228 to tie for 26th while Morgan Beaulieu finished tied for 31st with a total of 20-over par 230 (75-77-78).
A-State returns to action Sept. 25-26 at the Golfweek Red Sky Classic at Red Sky Golf Club in Vail, Colo.
