JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (3/4/25) – The Arkansas State women’s golf team concluded play Tuesday at the UNF Collegiate with a combined 54-hole 945 that placed it 14th among 16 teams.
The Red Wolves posted a 320 in the final round to finish four strokes back of Kennesaw State for 13th in the final standings. Austin Peay and Old Dominion tied for ninth with a total of 932 while Western Kentucky took the team title at 892.
With gusts up to 40 MPH at Jacksonville Golf and Country Club Tuesday, the scoring average surged to a tournament-high 78.89. The team was led by Ashley Kim, who finished tied for 29th place with a 232 total score as she collected her seventh top 30 finish in as many events.
Following Kim in the standings for A-State, Madison Tenore shot a 237 as she finished tied for 43rd place. Olivia Coit and Sofia Bastidas finished tied for 65th place at 241 while Anne-Lea Lavoie placed tied for 70th with a total score of 243. Playing as an individual, Caroline Hughes tied for 79th place with a 248.
A-State continues its spring slate March 24-26 at the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational hosted by Hawaii at Ka’anapali Royal Golf Club in Maui.
