
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (9/29/18) – Arkansas State women’s cross country finished eighth while the men’s squad finished 27th at the competitive Louisville Classic Saturday.
Anaelle Charles paced the women’s squad with a 30th place finish in the individual standings among the 226 women’s racers. Charles completed the 5k course at E.P. Tom Sawyer Park in 17:39.3. Pauline Meyer was second among the Red Wolves’ finishers as she crossed the line 45th overall with time of 17:54.8.
The A-State men placed 27th in the men’s race and were led by Bennett Pascoe. The sophomore raced to a time of 25:38.5 to rank 107th among the 252 runners. Seth Waters was on his heels as he finished 119th with a time of 25:42.6.

A-State cross country returns to action Saturday, Oct. 13, with select runners heading to the Pre-National meet in Madison, Wis., while several will race in the Little Rock Invitational.
