HOLLISTER, Mo. (10/19/21) – With two of three rounds played at Ozarks National, the Arkansas State women’s golf team is third among 15 teams at the Ozarks National Invitational hosted by Missouri State.
The Red Wolves turned in a 10-over par 298 Tuesday and are third with a 36-hole total of 585 (+9), one stroke behind second place Central Arkansas (+8). Oral Roberts leads the tournament at 4-under par 568 following a second round 2-under par 286.
Olivia Schmidt is second in the individual standings at 5-under par 139 following a second round 1-over par 73. Schmidt is two strokes behind leader Sarah Bell (-7) of Oral Roberts. Playing as an individual, Casey Sommer is tied for 10th, also posting a 1-over par 73 for the day. Elise Schultz was the third A-State player at 1-over par Tuesday and is tied for 24th overall at 6-over par for the event. Kayla Burke turned in a 4-over par 76 Tuesday and is tied for 14th while Charlotte Menager (72-81) is tied for 33rd and Madison Smith (80-76) is tied for 44th.
