CONWAY, Ark. (10/26/23) – Coming off play at ITA Regionals, the Arkansas State women’s tennis squad returns to the courts to compete at Central Arkansas’ Third Fall Invitational at the Conway Tennis Center Friday and Saturday.
“Throughout the past weeks of the fall season, our Red Wolves tennis family have been working exceptionally hard on and off the court,” said Sarah Millard. “We are excited to be skilled competitors in our upcoming competition with sportsmanship and excellence. Lastly, we will be sure to remember the powerful words from our mission statement, ‘with passion, with pride, we are red wolves’.”
A-State joins host Central Arkansas, Southeast Missouri, Kansas City, Missouri and Oral Roberts as teams set to compete in the two-day event. Two singles and one doubles match are on schedule Friday with a pair of doubles matches and a singles match on Saturday.
The Red Wolves will send a lineup of No. 1 Rebecca Brody, No. 2 Nejla Zukic, No. 3 Sarah Millard, No. 4 Yasmine Humber, No. 5 Emiliya Margolin and No. 6 Abigail Thurmer. The No. 1 doubles pair is Zukic and Humbert with Millard and Thurmer making the No. 2 duo. Brody and Margolin will be the third doubles pair for the event.
A-State closes out its fall schedule Nov. 3-4 at the Ragin’ Cajun Invite.
