JONESBORO, Ark. (8/7/23) – Two members of the 2022-23 Arkansas State men’s golf team were named Wednesday as All-America Scholars by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).
Arkansas State’s two selections mark the seventh consecutive season with multiple honorees. This year’s GCAA All-America Scholars list includes Jack Madden and Luka Naglic. This marks the fourth consecutive season Madden and Naglic have been named All-America Scholars.
To be eligible for the All-America Scholar status, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior academically. In addition, they must have a stroke-average under 76.0 and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. In total, 548 NCAA Division I athletes from 194 schools earned 2022-23 GCAA All-America Scholar honors.
