MONROE, La. (4/4/23) – Finishing off the final regular season event of the season, the Arkansas State women’s golf team finished fourth among nine teams at the ULM Invitational played at Bayou Desiard Country Club.
A-State turned in a final round 15-over par 303 to total 902 (+38) and finish fourth. Host ULM turned in an identical score in the final round and won the event with a total of 880 (+16). Sam Houston finished second with a total of 893 (+29) and Houston Christian was third with a total of 895 (+31).
Three Red Wolves finished inside the top 15 individually led by Morgan Beaulieu in seventh. Beaulieu was 4-over par 76 in the final round to total 6-over par 222 for the event. Olivia Schmidt was 5-over par 77 in the final round and totaled 8-over par 224 to tie for ninth. Elise Schultz carded the low round of the day for A-State at 2-over par 74 to finish up tied for 14th with a total of 225 (+9). Charlotte Menager tied for 33rd (+18) and Casey Sommer tied for 42nd (+23). Playing as an individual, Kayla Burke tied for 22nd (+13), Olivia Coit tied for 33rd (+18) and Sydni Leung was 46th (+27).
